http://www.globalchange.com Perception of time and speed of change and how it changes as we get older. Speed of change. How older and younger people respond to change. Wisdom and experience at work. How older people sacrifice themselves for younger generations. Older consumers and customers -- and the importance of family in their spending decisions. Political movements and older voters -- politicians appealing to older people. Importance of employing older workers and later retirement age. Age discrimination and forced retirement. Senior citizens in workplace. Keynote conference speaker Patrick Dixon at Stein Am Rhein Leadership Summit -- facilitated by Professor Prabhu Guptara.
If older people don't notice that time is passing (thus, the years slip by), then a week can go by quickly to them before they notice that they are getting behind in work; whereas, less time goes by before noticing they are getting behind for young people.
But this only applies to slack people. Basically, slack older people are slacker than slack young people.
This is easy to overcome. Just develop productive habits.
