  • L: Hey! Mary-Alice, are you okay? M: Yes, thank you. I'm fine. L: Ok! I'll see you later! M: [narrating] But this night, something changed. L: No, you're not. I can tell. Please, tell me what's wrong. Let me save you. M: You can't. L: Why not? M: Sweety, we can't prevent what we can't predict! L: Isn't there anything I could do? M: Yes. You can enjoy this beautiful day. We get so few of them, This was the last time Lynette would ever dream of me. And for her sake, I'm grateful
  • The best scene in Desperate Housewives. <3

I don't cry at ervery sad scene. But I remeber how much I had to cry while I saw this. Scenes like this one are the reason why I love Desperate Housewives so much! :)

  • I can't look at Brenda Strong without thinking about Sue Ellen Mischke, the braless wonder.

  • I cried like a baby with this episode! one of the best by far!

  • an idiotic question: what's the music?

  • this is the episode that never in my life i thought i would cry my heart out especially at the ending of this episode. . . . :'(((

  • Scenes like this are why I, a complete sci-fi geek, love this show. It's so simple yet so beautiful.

  • "Please... let me save you."

    "You can't."

    "Why not?"

"Sweetie... We can't prevent what we can't predict."

That moment made me bawl my eyes out. So powerful.

  • Wow - Mary Alice was tall (or Lynette is short!).

  • The very BEST episode of this show.
