@buttheadandbeaver - I can trace my family back generations in Peterborough. My great grandfather has his name on the Inverlea Bridge, and his father drowned in 1823...it is not for losers I loved living there, but there was no employment. And that is the only reason we moved. My childhood was great In Peterborough.

@lifeisublime i grew up in ptbo, and i live in london now. all of the ontario city downtowns are getting a bit scummy, sad to say. I visited again in the summer of 2010, and i was surprised how nice the walkway down by the river was. Much nicer than I remembered. The problem with Ptbo is it's so hard to find work.
