  • oops I meant to post that comment on a different video please disregard it

  • This instrument is pointless, just look up Özcan Ulucan-Birsen on youtube playing it on a real viola.

  • It wasn't written for the cello but a rare bowed guitar called "Arpeggione" as the name of this work implies. It's usually taken up cellists but sometimes by violists or guitarists. Most cellists avoid hitting the E6 note such as was the case when Senler did the scale passage an octave lower than in the original score at 7:13.

  • mmmmmm yes but it can be learned! I know a lot of it now..

  • Because this piece is incredibly difficult on cello (it's one of the hardest sonatas written for cello)

  • how am I in over my head? or crazy good?

  • lmao what do you mean?

  • I just started this piece... I'm a freshmen in highschool

  • I like his interpretation of this piece but I think Tanya Remenikova's is better :]
