Thank you you my friend. For putting your life on the line, and putting your Country first before family. We/I support you and this welcome home is very awsome and should be done more often in appreciate of what you do for us and the US. God Bless you and your fallen friends. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you.

And taping or filming a fallen comrade is forbidden.
I've been to 19 of them 19 of my buddies was KIA during our deployment in Afghanistan. Like Animal Said it hurts me to see my fallen comrades will never see the thank you.

The only place that I know that actually clap for Soldiers returning from deployment is Altanta Airport. It happen but mostly in southern states.

It's a nice commercial, but it doesn't happen in real life. I've been in many airports while in uniform, maybe like three people have come up to me quietly. But even a few are really appreciated.
It was like this at the beginning of the war. We did experience this for a brevity. For all of my brothers (Soldiers) in Arms who have continued the hard fight. I salute you.
Thank you and I have your back.
