Mageman, sorry that you got those reactions. I know the folks who work there appreciate it when the patrons dress up to come in. Don't let a bad experience prevent you from doing it again.

lol i remember I dressed up as a wizard there one year but I was imberressed cause everyone was walking past me like : wtf? with a dirty look on their face lol XD I guess that festival was real middle ages not fantasy RPG middle ages XD LOL!!!

Mageman, I've seen people dressed up as wizards, it's not too weird. I love going to the renfest...I got the accent down to go with it too. One year I had my hair done for a wedding the day before we went, and I left it for the renfest. I kept calling my boyfriend "farmboy" cuz that's what he looked like. Renfests Rock!
