I love the Book, a Prayer for Owen Meany and can't believe such a great story and they simply film a movie loosely based on the novel! By the way, this video is great. Makes me hope they will reconsider and actually do the book justice with a great film.

Naah, I Loved the book and that goes for any other novel by Irvin, but never thought of Owen, not ones, to be a person with growthsyndrome. I always undersdtood by the Novel that he was underdevelloped in growth cuz his Mother didn`t / could`t take care of him properly. If you read the book, the movie is disapointing, but that only points out Irvings brilliant talent.
