And he ended up locked away on mentel grounds.

It seems as though he did not like women that much.

Still the right results came from the song itself.

Gerry Dammers did more for Africa with this song than anything Bono ever did or will do. Dammers had real integrity. This song will be played long after U2 and Bono have thankfully passed away.

i wouldn't say that, considering most people know at least some U2 and there aren't to many people who know of the Specials.
but, i would take the Specials (and jerry dammers) over U2 any day

when my daughter was 2 she loved this song. it was so cute to hear her sing FREEEEEE NELSON MANDELLA! when he was freed she thought she helped ! now shes 22 and laughs about that. i didnt realize i was teaching world politics at 25/26 yr old LOL
