Every person, every organisation has some sort of natural bias, and you are correct that MSNBC leans towards the left. However, they do not ignore and distort facts in the was fox does. They do not suddenly change sides completely like Hannity who admired GWB on the patriot act and condemned Obama for exactly the same thing. They don't lie like O'Reilly regularly does. They actually criticise Obama when justified, and they present news. Fox is not a news organisation it is an arm of the GOP

I guess that credit is due to Rachel Maddow for pressuring Obama on his campaign promises. However, let's not forget, they can (and often will) distort facts in order to ostracize a political candidate if they fear that s/he is a threat to the establishment. A good example is when they cover Ron Paul. You should see the way that Ed Shultz treats him. It was even openly claimed on the network that Ron Paul publicly advocated the execution of homosexuals.
