Why Fox News isn't news

The truth is that Fox has used its alleged news shows to promote political events, not simply to report them. (Their exaggerations are also noteworthy--gives the real lie to "fair and balanced.") Ms. Maddow does a fine job of explaining the simple truth about what Fox does that makes them untrustworthy.

the only problem with this argument against fox news is that she is really just saying that Glenn Beck is not news, not fox news as a whole. Glenn Beck is not a reporter...he says it himself...he doesn't hide behind the idea that he is a news reporter. He says he isn't. The network itself is a news organization and should be treated as such. Specific programs, maybe not, but the network as a whole should.

The economy has fallen so far down that even these clowns (Rachel and cohorts) can't keep humping Obama's leg like a small dog w/out people laughing at them. MSNBC's numbers are so low that you could add them all up and still not equal one of Fox's poll #s.

PMSNBC can't keep enough income to keep their lights on and NBC is hurting. Any news person that says "Obama sends thrills up their leg" has got to scare some of the population. Linda Carter thrills me, Obamanation is killing the US.

The issue is not WHAT Fox News does but rather WHY it's so popular. You just have to accept the fact that America, by and large, is a regressive conservative country that's about to go broke anyway. In a few years, Americans will be more concerned about putting food on their plate instead of the content of their news.
