@MrCanM its leg power and weight u want to get buff strong legs to kick far the Saints kicker is 5'8 and weight 196 he can kick it up to 56 yrds ... pratice a lot

whenever i try to kickoff i always squib it. I'm 15 and I'm about 5'7. does height matter? or is it leg power?

@fletcherdilmore i have kicked so much one day my hip got out of place that day i kicked a 79 yard punt a 42 yard field goal and a 87 yard kick off best kicking day ever do you know any kicking camps and how old are you

@Cejo871 my current long is a 56, I have game film on my profile, at the moment I have a bruised right foot.

I'm 24 years old, 6'1" and 190 pounds. I have a dream (quarter life crisis) of being a pro field goal kicker. Today was the first day I tried kicking and needless to say, I need some work but I definitely have the potential having played soccer most of my life.
I'm wondering if it's impossible to become a kicker in AFL, NFL or Canadian having not even attended college. Are there open try outs? I have the drive, I just need some coaching.
