Agreed, the older stuff is better, but I respect him for still goin; he's in his fifties for hellsake!! The fact that he's been screaming those falsetto notes for almost thirty years I'm surprised he can still even speak.. HAIL THE KING!!

his recent albums aren't as strong as the older ones, but he still has the ability to make a great song. i'm thinking of this song and "The Trees Have Eyes" off House of God. he's not defining metal any more, but he's still making good music. also, if you're patient with his recent albums, they'll grow on you. it's just that he's sort of in his own little niche of metal, not really related to more clearly defined sub-genres.

on it I would have not done so. He's got his own style and his guitarist are

phenomenal...
