@FatDiddles2112 I'm aware of the fact that Spider is a cadence that has been played by many a drum lines around the country. However, when I say it is "wrong" please understand that I don't mean any disrespect... just stating that it is different... it's not Mosley.

@GameRunna850 I was part of that 96, 97, 98 cymbal line! Loud indeed! Love it! Where's Bobby? He needs to come back and teach 'em how Spider is supposed to sound!

I have to say 95-98 was good.. I missed 95, but was there 96-00 and was section leader in 2000. We had 5 snares 3 tenors and 6 basses and I think like 45 cymbals(jk). By far the loudest, cleanest, and best year of the mhs drumline. Also the debut of the FSU cymbal thing on this video. But Spider has fell apart. Y'all need to get a tech in there that get things back in order. Is there any footage of 96-00 available?

@Kanduece spider is probably the most played cadence in all of drumming. We might play it different then when the 95-98 years but it simply isnt "wrong". Over time spider has evolved and became more contemporary and relevent with the world of drumming

@jendub225 i guess??

What the heck happened to Spider? I'm sure it wasn't this drumline that changed it, but it is completely wrong.
