One of the under-rated singers of British heavy metal along with Tony Marin.... Too bad he didn't get much respect in iron maiden. Still listen to his thunderous performance in X Factor !

I trained in Bel Canto (Opera) for many years, and there is a certain breathing technique that you use for singing in this manner - you physically hold your ribs open in an expanded state while holding the diaphragm down, which only lets a miniscule amount of air out - and he isn't doing it. If you have correct breath support you won't run out of air before the line you are singing ends, and your voice won't waiver.

I love this man.Blaze has gone through a lot of shit, but sttill, he continues to write kickass heavy metal and sings better than ever.
To you people being concerned about his weight:
He was never thin.
He has lost his wife and a lot more has happened to him.
Stress is a factor that lets people gain OR loose weight.Thin people most likely loose weight while sturdy people gain.
HEAVY METAL IS NOT ABOUT IMAGE, THAT'S WHAT SEPERATES US FROM MOST OF THE WORLD.

I like Blaze Bayley's band and all of his work,with Iron Maiden and solo!
"The X Factor" album,is one of my favorites of Maiden's!Great atmosphere there!
