Here, I more or less trick him into a ride on my E bike on the most dangerous road in Avoca Beach, Cape Three Points.
Note that the figures are true. Hans has not been on a bike in 34 years, even though he might look like a pro.
He is wearing a helmet in the clip, by the way. The floppy brim was added by me.
He reported afterwards a strange feeling. Whilst in a car, he n longer ever feels the impulse to drive on the other side of the road, the right side as they do in Holland, that has long been programmed out of him.
But when he got on the bike there was a very strong impulse to head for the wrong side of the road, that inclination having laid dormant I guess with his bike skills all those years.
Note, none of us have an financial interest in electric bikes. I just believe in them and want to see lots of older people, especially, on them.
To see why, look at; Surprise in Vienna, another of my youtubits. Mike Rubbo

Nice Mike...but where is the brain bucket? After watching my husband almost die and 5 years of rehab from severe head trama, I highly recommend a helmet. It is not fun during that time and scary for all because every head trama is different...many become vegetables or never walk again. They told me my husband would not live and if he does he'll never walk again. Better safe than sorry! Best to you and Katerina... P.S. Sure do miss Olive but am thankful that you made the world aware of her.

In fact, the floppy brimmed hat he wears (MINE) is a regulation helmet with the rim added .
I'm hoping the floppy brimmed look will become associated with E bikes this this one.
If you look at the orbital bus story I did with Dr. Ian Charlton, he's also had a brim added. Cheers, Mike
