Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - TV Intro (fanmade)

Lately I've been thinking about the Harry Potter movies, and how in adapting the books they've had to take more and more stuff out in order to make each film a reasonable running length. It occured to me that if they were to adapt the books as a TV series, with each book making up a "season" (some seasons would be longer than others), they could let the story develop more and not have to sacrifice so many thoroughly enjoyable scenes, characters, and subplots (to say nothing of the advantages with standing sets, consistent wardrobe, and a cast that is always on hand so we could watch them age in real time). This is my attempt to show that, in the form of an opening credits sequence that would accompany the first "season" for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I used John Williams' prologue from the 'Hook' soundtrack. (And yes, there will be more). Also, I used several moments from the deleted scenes (see if you can spot them; there are four).

Yeah i agree I don't think anything should have been changed at all; it's a British book and it should stay that way - the Englishness is part of it's allure. I'm sure Americans know for example that football means soccer and that holiday means vacation. Or if they didnt, they can work it out just like everybody else does when reading an american book.

This is a film with british actors so i have no fucking clue why they changed the titles JUST for americans >:(

@Barneystudioz perhaps not a huge issue to some, but as a fan of the books i was very displeased that they left out the part in "Deathly Hallows" where Dudley says to Harry, "I don't think you're a waste of space", and actually seems to thank him for saving him from the dementors. that part of the story spoke VOLUMES to me when reading the book. it showed that Dudley had real character. WHY did they leave that little part out??? wouldn't have taken any time at all to keep it in! IDIOTS!

Should've used Harry's Wondrous World. Unfortunately, the original cast of students couldn't return because they've all grown up now. But nicely done!
