This was made on the 66th anniversary of D-day. It uses over 500 frames and particle illusion. It is perhaps the best WW2 stop-motion video I have made. The song that plays is "hymn to the fallen(from saving private ryan)". At some parts there are 30 frames per second.

  • I can really tell the difference with the more frames. It make the action move much more quickly. Also the sound effects are dramatic.

  • Nice job on using Brickarms

  • Hey Liam! its lily, you probably dont remember me, im one of the four johnson kids that visited you last summer at your cabin. I love your vidoes, this one must of took forever to make! Keep up the good work and ill keep watching! Oh yeah, you shoud get a camara stand, it helps with the blurry images, but the sound effects were top notch!

  • Hey, Liam, it's me Narisse! I liked this video, but i saw several fingers in there and many blurred images, but the over all effect was good. I really liked the effects of the soldiers wading through the water and the man walking down the steps. When the soldiers were falling off the boat, there were no splashes, so if u do a similar video, with people falling into water, u might want to add splashes! Great job on the video!

  • Hey, Liam, me, Narisse has a Youtube account now too. I saw several fingers in there, but over all it was quite good. I really liked the effect of the soldiers wading through the water, and the people walking down the stairs. Those effects were great! But, there were no splashes when the men fell into the water off the boat, so if u have another video like this, with water, u might want to add splashes, if u can! Great Job!

  • Pretty impressive....touching as well. I visited the beaches at Normandy and it would have been awful to fight your way up as our men did. Great job! (Aunt B)
