Since the Sonny & Cher cover of this particular Dylan song was more preferable than the Byrds' (which was on the charts at the same time), a decent recording would certainly be a keeper. Since I can't find the righteous studio version anywhere, I certainly hope that you make good on your idea to post your recording of it: I will be among the first to download it and to earnestly thank you for uploading it...

As I remember it, this song always had an interesting sound to it. Cher always had a sort of nasal quality to her voice. The opening few bars do not seem to be accelerated. Song does not appear to be speeding. Great song however. Thank you for the post. Love the song.

at the same time sonny and cher had this out as a single so did the byrds with their version. cher's was more successful so deejays started flipping over the byrds single to play " I'll feel a whole lot better when your gone " on the other side and it became a hit too.
