The living room features a wood burning stove for those chilly nights, and a small library with books related to the area.




Off the living/dining room is a spacious deck, the perfect place to enjoy a meal, or just absorb the beauty of the glorious aspens and pines, any time of day. Beyond the grassy landscaped grounds, you can unwind while watching a variety of interesting water fowl that abound in and around the close by pond. (sorry, no fishing!) On the main floor, there is a second bedroom with twin beds and a large closet. Adjacent to this bedroom is a spacious bathroom with shower.

The cabin's upper level has a large master suite with king bed, and an adjoining sitting area - the perfect place to read, or just relax and take in this amazing setting. The master has a new full bath with a large jacuzzi tub, double sinks, and a walk-in closet.
The cabin's decor is done in comfortable Durango style furnishings, with artwork that boasts the wonderful wildlife and scenery that this area is known for. The high ceiling bring in lots of natural light.

The private Electra Lake can be accessed by registering at the gate; it's a great place for picnicing, fishing, and boating, and it's just 2 minutes away. There's also a seasonal restaurant right on the lake featuring gourmet food. Catch the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad just 1/4 mile away at the Rockwood Station. Durango Mountain Resort is just 5 minutes away. Ride the chairlift in the summer months and see the impressive 14,000 ft. San Juan Mountains.
