This is typical of the intelligence level of these "cowdogs" , and what is possible when they bond to a human. They NEED to work. For those who want to run out and get one, DON'T unless you are willing to put this kind of time in to make them work. Or you will have chewed up furnishings or fences or even damaged livestock. I had two half border collies, who were not raised knowing their human was the alpha and they never minded me, (I got them at 7 months) and they ended up killing 5 of my goats
