The United States economy added a meager 18,000 jobs in June, compared with a gain of a revised 25,000 jobs in May, the Department of Labor said on Friday, while the unemployment rate edged up to 9.2 percent from 9.1 percent in May.
The numbers showed the continuing challenges of adding jobs to the economy even at a rate that keeps pace with population growth, two years after the official end of the longest economic downturn since the Great Depression. This is a recovery?

deregulation in this age doesn't work. All those incentives to corporations and large business does not work. Every single company is tighting it belt and layoff workers while keeping a tidy profit. What need to be focused on his regulation of banks and a greater transparency between government and the people. Stop blaming obama and blame it on the banks and corporations that lay off people when they don't need to.

Man... why do republicans praise regan like he is good.. .although his reagonomics
1 reduce the growth of government spending,
2 reduce income and capital gains marginal tax rates,
3 reduce government regulation of the economy,
4 control the money supply to reduce inflation
Reagonomics did have lower marginal tax rates and deregulation however government deficits and spending rose in his administration.

from the post I've seen.. some American are dumb fucks. These people need an education. 1/3 of the stimulus was tax cuts, 1/3 was for unemployment and 1/3 for infrastructure. I'm sure all those people who lost their jobs would be screwed if without unemployment relieve. Not all the stimulus money has been spent too.

Go vp Joe, This is what I missed when pres Dubbya was walking around.
One minute of pres Dubbya was horrific, vp Joe can talk a whole hour about substance and making clear what ever you need to be cleared.
I am a little irritated by the guy with the glases, let the vp do his thing , .
I like vp Joe because he reflects humanity and logic in contrary to pres Dubbya who only reflected stupidity.
A sincerely wished good luck to the vp with his current project.
