Hi Will
I am now producing units for 2,4,6 and 8 Cylinder 4 stroke engines with convential points ( C/B ) system or connect to a rev counter point on your ECU. This option is selected before despatch of the unit and is NOT changeable by the user. The answer to your question is probably yes, but obviously I have not tested the unit on all types of car.
