2009 Nuit Blanche Toronto Beautiful Light 4 Letter Word Machine Pre Show wind storm ground view

An Hour and a half before the first Beautiful Light Show was to Start at the 2009 Nuit Blanche in Toronto, the 4 Letter Word Machine displays got hit by wind gusts from a microburst estimated to be ~60-90 mph violently moving the displays around, the main cameras set to record the displays during setup and operation got blown over 1.5 minutes into the windstorm, this video from an alternate camera shows the whole 12 minute storm. The control tent for the show and displays was blown away destroying some of the control and sound computers, it was a mad rush to get something working by the 6:55PM first show deadline. by around 9pm, all the automated control was restore (after moving harddrives from damaged computers to good ones) , the time stamp on the video is Arizona time, so its 3 hours behind actual time in Toronto.
