  • Well I suppose so, but the guage WAS chosen by an English Royal Commission. The first main lines in Ireland were all on different guages, varying from 4' 8 1/2" to 6' 2"!!

  • Dear LeamingtonSteve, you must be unaware that the railway gauge in Ireland is 5'3 ins, which would make it VERY difficult to run 70013 over there!!

  • No I guess with a name like that it wouldn't be that popular over on the Emerald Isle!
