Polygamy is not outdated, but rather the WAY it was practiced is outdated just as the OLD way monogamy was practiced is outdated where women were often ARRANGED in marriages and had little to no say. Polygamy is not always built on a drive to have as many children and as many wives, but rather it's nowadays built on love (love for more than one person) and CONSENT of ALL adults involved. And I'd say the culture is changing again, esp. with gay marriage in the mix.

People always say polygamy is out dated, when there are so many "indirect" poygamist walking around. These are them: "baby daddies", mistresses, "girl on the side", "side join", out of town girlfriend, trophy, etc. (I know I left some ou)t. Polygamy just basically adds rules to all of that and hold everyone accounted for.

First off, get your facts straight Dr. Keith, polygamists are NOT Mormons or in any way, shape or form associated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Second, am I the only one who thinks these kids are brainwashed from birth to think that polygamy is the only way to live?

I disagree with polygamy; but I find it alarming that people object to polygamy and yet they don't object to sleeping around and having multiple sex partners outside of marriage. If it is acceptable for people to have multiple sex partners outside of marriage how is it not acceptable inside of marriage?

I was just thinking, i think its really weird that they have los of wifes but if you thin about it is it the same for all the people who cheat of their spouses except they are up from and accepting of the other people.

Hmm...I often imagine the community that would result from the use of boundary dissolving pyschedelic drugs and an orgiastic lifestyle. Orgy and drugs are both words that are taboo to many people, but lets look at what would happen: there's no way to trace paternity. This results in the COMMUNITY caring for the children because, "hey this might be mine". I see so many fucking cunty, ignorant people walking around today. Why?
