Money. and helping the planet. trust me, that cancer stick your smoking is FAR gross than someone elses mentrual blood on their own pad whic they rinse wash sanitize and dry all on THEIR own. So stop baggering something you are not fully educated on. Your nasty blood soaked pad in our landfills (they never biodigrate) is waaay nastier than my clean sanitized ones.

@almondbrown09 One that uses proper English, because they are educated. For example, words like "neva" do not exist, it should be spelled "never" sweetie. Or "dey own blood" would properly be "their own blood" and you would ideally place an "of" after the "off" in that sentence. One last thing, "dats" is not a word either. I believe you were attempting to use "that's" with an apostrophe in it. I suppose you can't be blamed for your ignorance. It isn't like you have access to the internet.

I use them they're comfortable and breath better, you never have to run down to the store and I stopped having allergic reactions/yeast infection. They don't stain that that easy or leak.As for cleaning you can just give them a good rinse in the shower and them toss them in the wash(I toss them in a dedicates bag so they don't get lots up a pant leg or something)

This is very embarrassing because this is a perfect example of a response from someone who is clearly uneducated and uninformed. And I'm embarrassed because this narrow minded thinking plagues women in general but really runs rampant in the African American community. Yeah smoking a cancer stick makes all the sense in the world but reusable menstrual products which have always been the standard, are completely ludicrous.

I just thought you should know that the video you are responding too was intended to help women create pads for the Pads4Girls foundation. A charity that sends reusable pads to girls and women in Africa so that they can continue to go to school and work during their periods because they have nothing to use and often end up dropping out and being married off. They don't have land fills like we do. So that's who is using reusable pads. Along with women who care about the environment like me.
