For those of you who can't see the difference it's very subtle. You have to focus on the way the pieces are "pointing" where they overlap. When you braid fowards you get a sort of recurring v-shape, like the pieces are coming together to point down. In this braid you'll notice the pieces seem to point up. If you pull up another of her videos where she makes her regular braid and compare closely, you'll see what I mean.
