My personal mantra is to do everything right the first time. Follow that little voice that knows right from "wrong," You can start from the outside in btw, you don't have to be spiritually pristine to have positive impact on the world. Start with yourself but don't wait to be perfect, there's no right spell. I work out, study, set guidelines inside and out, follow my heart, benefit loved ones, have respect for the world around me. . . these are all we're required to do.

@TheIchor Correct me if I'm wrong, but does the Left Hand path necessitate some believe in Cthulhu, along the lines of Humans being progeny to a left hand God? Does the God have a sacrificial create, then consume function, usually of its Host, us humans? Or does the Left Hand god, call it what you will, just influence or account for our Dark side? Like decay and inevitable physical Death? Are you sure it does not worship the black or grey side at the expense of the White?

It would appear that some people that have replied do not understand the meaning of "change Self". It would appear they assume you mean to "conform to others" which is incorrect. Perhaps saying "master Self" would be more appropriate? And of course, if one has not mastered Self, they surely will not easily effect change outside of Self.

@TheIchor I'm not twisting anything, I'm sure you're an intelligent person. I've corresponded with you before. We're all entitled to question such a deep subject . I assumed you like writers like HP Lovecraft , that's all. Much of your writing seems esoteric etc: I merely asked you to consider things in a general way, and wasn't trying to attack ! Perhaps the people that question allow you to look carefully. Nobody's out to attack anybody: Live and Let Live- how's that for a spiritual mantra?.
