  • lustitiapax is a nazi scum. He spreads nazi propaganda using youtube. Just ignore him.

  • The truth is that during the Commonwealth Era, Kaschubia or Polish "Pomorze" for some reason became a refuge for people from all over West Pomerania. Many Pomeranian settlers of Pomor and German, or mixed ancestry were moving East - and after counter-reformation in XVII century many converted to Catholicism.

This has direct paralllels in Silesia or Ermland - where Catholicism was often followed by polonisation, while Protestantism by germanisation.

  • @IustitiaPax - Gdynia to Gdynia ;))) Berlin pozostanie Bralinem, Leipzig Lipskiem, Schwerin Skwierzyna, a Rostock Rozotką.

  • @IustitiaPax - Kashubians were Catholic and never considered themselves "German". There was always a stark gap between Kashubians and Germans in West Prussia due to the religious barriers. For the Polish Cathlic Kashubians all Protestants = Germans.... Funnily enough - for the Protestant Leba Kashubians (Slovincians), Kashubs of Pomerelia were "Poles".

Even the German Catholic Kosznajderians failed to entirely mix up with neighbouring Kashubians. They retained their language and left.

  • @AZsaturn Of course. But this only affirms my statement about the Kashubization and Polonization of ethnic Germans in Pomerelia (West Prussia). The Kulmer Land ethnic Germans were entirely Polonized by 17th century, as they remained Catholics. Some however retained Germanness, like the ancestors of bp. Augustin Rosentreter. Of course I know that millions of Germans have Slavic ancestors. I never denied that. Also affirm that Danzig was always ethnic German as a city.
