This video shows an apartment fire at 1307 12th Street N.W. in Washington, DC. The video was shot by DCFD PIO Alan Etter and released to members of Engine Company 4. The fire involved a fifth floor apartment. No one was seriously injured.

Idk why they are in such a hurry. It’s a 1 or 2 room burn out in a 4 story OMD it’s mainly room and contense. That is a BS fire we get them all the time, just cause its venting out 1 or 2 windows doesn't show the actually fire inside the room. They also have 4 lines stretched, we have 2 lines stretched 1 in ops for that type of fire. I guess that’s just the FDNY way of doing things o’well. I do commend them on there aggressive interior attack and quick knock down though good job guys

Now there's what I like to see. The engine pulls up and before the driver even has a chance to exit the rig, the crew are already pullin' lines. To make matters even better, they are runnin' those suckers, not taking their sweet time like many. Nice work DCFD!!!
