Chicago's Macy's State Street Store is proud to introduce International pianist and award winning performer Dr Yulia Lipmanovich, to you. Dr Yulia Lipmanovich performs Chopin's "Fantasie Impromptu" in C# Minor on a Steinway model B, 6'10" grand piano in the Macy's State street store on the "Lower Level".
Dr. Julia has numerous degrees from some of the most prestigious Music Academy's in the world.

Born in Russia and now a resident of Chicago IL., Dr. Yulia began her study with Tatiana Nickolayeva at Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and continued at Rome's Saint Cecilia Academy of Music. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Piano Performance from Julliard School of Music in New York where she studied with Madame Rosina Lhevinne on full scholarship. She earned her Masters Degree in Piano Performance from Rubin Academy of Music at Tel Aviv University. She received her Doctorate of Music Degree in Piano Performance from University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. She has won numerous international competitions and has performed in major concert halls in Russia, Israel and the United States including Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Steinway Hall in New York.

Yulia established a successful piano teaching practice in Chicago IL., where she welcomes all students at all levels from ages 6 to 96.
