The problem with these is that they're illegal to carry in public. Back in my highschool, we used something called "dawg knuckles." Basically, you take a dog choke collar chain, put one ring on your index finger, wrap the chain around your metacarpals (upper fingers), and put the other ring on the closest finger. About as effective as brass knuckles, and totally legal to carry around.
