  • Al Martino's version much better, wish I could sing like Tony though, he has been great over these years and still packs the fans in.

    You've got to be kidding!!

  • Oh dear Tony, This song belongs to Al Martino. There is a reason why it was a million seller for Al Martino....he has a richer voice to hit those notes and has more tenderness.

  • not in the same class as al martino, but he is a good singer.

  • I agree that Shaun Connely's version of Here in my heart is excellent, obviously a complete and different arrangement in the 21st Century.

But I still think Al Martino's version is better, (In my opinion) mainly because of the memories it evokes of my younger days, at 75 as everyone will find out, vaules change, but the memories linger on.

  • @clivemainwaring

the best version of this is sang by shaun foster connely

  • I love Tony Frank Sinatra way back said publically that Tony was the best singer in the world, even Tony will tell you that.

But sadly this version of this great song lacks a proper arrangemment, this one isn't best suited to Tony's young voice at that time. No one can sing this song like Al Martino, and his version will always belong to the archives of greatness, in my opinion and I am a great fan of Tony but somehow I feel his voice is off sync here with this arrangement.

    Sorry to all Fans

  • Wow ,this shows why Martino is so great!

  • Al Martino couldn't hold a candle to Tony's version. This is far superior. Thanx for sharing this. gennaro.
