@cupidgurl15 anyone can do ballet without wanting a professional career, but a professional career would not be possible. gymnastics wont help with anything besides strength, balance, and flexibility. there are no handstands or cartwheels in ballet. :) hope that helped.

im thirteen now and did ballet for 2 years when i was 4/5 and am starting again this Saturday any advice for me what i should do before hand because all the other girls in the class will probably have been doing it for a long time ,please give me some advice! thanx ;)

@DaisyRock14 all it takes is a little practice. Just work on correct leg turnout and placement at barre first, and then work on the turns. You will have them in no time. Good luck! :)

I did ballet for 4 years. I started at age 3, and stopped at age 7. I am 14 now.

I was wondering if I could do those a la second spins. I am 5'8'', and haven't done ballet since I was 7. But, I still have my really strong ankles annd feet.

um i started ballet when i was five and i was in 5th grade 2 years ago and thats when i quit but im 13 now so i was 11 years of age in 5th grade hehe lolzies (:
