  • i have a problem that when i hook it to my tv and i close the lid the display of the HDMI goes to native resolution of 1366x768 on a monitor that supports a ress of 1440x900 theres no problem but on my tv that only supports 1280x720 it says not supported, before i restored the laptop in never changed resolution but now it does every time i close the lid any suggestions on how to make it stop changing ress and stay on the one i set?

  • good tip, i'm bookmarking this...

i'm thinking about buying a docking station for the office and a port replicator for home, or vice versa.

i keep reading that you can connect external displays through the station/replicator (obviously), but i'm wondering if i'll be able to use my laptop's HDMI capability through a station/replicator?
