Just a little clip of Pcsx2 SVN Rev. 1726 running FF X-2 @ 60fps using Gsdx Direct3D 10. Hats off to the Pcsx2 development team, a great accomplishment in PS2 emulation. Anxious for each new release you guys put out, so thanks alot for this great project!

Main hardware spec: AMD Phenom II 955 BE @ 3.2 Ghz w/ 6GB 12800 DDR3 ATI Radeon 4890 Vapor-X OC

Amazingly enough, my first youtube upload, so I'm hoping the video plays as well as it does on my computer. It captured loss-less with Fraps, will see how it looks on youtube here.

  • @pal2011 oh yeah and if you want to watch cutscene (laggy) but atleast clean press F9 to switch to software mode

  • @pal2011 FFX-2 has problems, game FMV(cutscene) RUNS LIKE CRAP (38 FPS), but should be normal in-game.

  • I got FFX and FFXII to work near acceptable fps but NOO FFX2 runs like crap :(

  • Hi. How did you past daeva after fighting him on chapter 3 kilika island./ pls help

  • @migoffspring mine doesnt....:/ I still cant get my ffx-2 to work...im so sad

  • does he/she hear me you could help to configure the emuladr so that the final fantasy 7 dirge cerberus and the one work? final fantasy x-2 is that for but that attempt it the videos they go out me with some lines all strangers and for but that attempt it it doesn't serve me my pc it is a phenom 2 x4 with 4 ram gb and a card ati radeon hd 4350 of 1 gb my msn it is o5c4r@hotmail.es I ask you that please you help me the but quick possible

  • @bagofcrap24 There are several AMD Phenom processors. AMD Phenom II X6 is a Hexa-core processor.

I also use a quad-core processor (AMD Athlon II X4 640 at 3,0 GHz) and some games won't run flawlessly. Though Final Fantasy X runs at 120 FPS+ sometimes. (But I don't care about that. As long as it's 60~ FPS)

  • @cyberdrache3 it may be useless having the extra cores for PCSX but who builds a computer purely for PCSX2, im pretty sure getting a quad core will be much better for other things, than it will have a negative impact on PCSX, plus the Phenom II is a Hex Core isnt it

  • @davidkeithbecket You do know that PCSX2 can only make use of two cores?

So it's useless to have a quad-core if you wanna use PCSX2. It works best with dual-core processors.

  • that looks pretty sweet wanna get me that quad core
