@sk1p08 I'll certainly give it a try, and I'll let you know how it works out. Thanks a bunch!

You would need a lathe, I've only done one successful hub mod using a drill and that was lucky. I don't mod as much as I used to, but a butterfly can't be modded this way because it doesn't use a nut/bolt axle like the other models use.

HEY CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE A TUTORIAL OF How to recess a duncan "Butterfly" and put a ballbearing and hubs on it too? :) Ive been trying to do it but idk how :P and also if only I could make it heavier somehow.

@sshiftyp you do have to apply pressure, but its more to do with the angle. When you start it you will gather an idea on what works well, it's too hard to explain without seeing what you do etc.
Just give it a go, you will find the sweet spot :D

@DarkRolinBoy
I used bathroom tile silicon, but pretty much anything will do.

I hope you don't mind if I ask you this, but my Speed Beetle has suddenly become completely and utterly unresponsive. It will not return no matter what I do. I've been using it for a few years, and this is a new issue. Do you have any suggestions on how I can fix it? Thanks.

@LeopoldUlysees The speedbeatle uses friction stickers to come back up (material stickers with a silicon like gum on them.) Chances are these have just worn out completely, so the yoyo has no friction to hold the string when it is wound up. You will need to buy some replacement friction stickers from an online store or maybe the outlet you got the yoyo. Hope this helps!
