On Saturday, March 13, 2010, HiTEC (Histrionic Thought Experiment Cooperative) played its 72nd & LAST session as a public event at the Kresge Recital Hall in the CFA (Center for Fine Arts) at CMU (Carnegie Mellon University). This (more or less) ended our 20 mnths of existence. Alas, in a concert hall that cd probably hold something like 200 people there were fewer people in the (v)audience than there were in the group. To make matters worse, I fell & cracked my ribs before the gig began & was in fairly intense pain throughout. This excerpt is from the 1:44:35 edit & includes "Infinite Monkey Theorem", "SOMNAMBULIST", "Saboteur", "Bypass", "Birds", & "Affinity Groups" - albeit in somewhat confusing form. There's also 1 typo that'll probably never be fixed. Camerawork was by Tony Balko, Spencer Diaz, Morgan Cahn, & Greg Pierce. All else was done by tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE. The lighting was very low so the brightness of the video has been enhanced w/ "solarization" - making it look like it was shot on VHS instead of using mini-dv, hard-drive camcorder, & Hi-Def. No matter. - June 4, 2010 notes from tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE
that was a rocking INFINITE MONKEY THEOREM (which i cut short by playing HEY JUDE). can't wait to see the whole feature -- hopefully in a party setting.
maybe we'll have a HiTEC reunion in prague.

@unfinishedsymphonies I've always wanted to have HiTEC Systems Managers disguised as trees there. Think UPMC wd pay for it?
