This huge green house is heated by only one stove. Originally designed to burn rice coal it is now burning grass pellets with no conversion. From the website http://thinkingglobalactinglocal.com

  • Grass pellets do sometimes form clinkers as burning coal does, therefore any system designed to burn coal should be able to cope with the ash and clinker from grass pellets.

  • this fuel in a rocket stove would just be plain awsome

  • Life's really went downhill for Tom Arnold after Roseanne left...

  • I think he's a firebug.

  • Why not just compost in the house...?

  • this guys sounds just like jesse ventura

  • I would guess on a COLD day, you burn more than 200 lbs for a huge greenhouse. Cost of pellets have more than tripled over the past few years. According to enviroenergyny 17 pounds of pellets will equal the BTU’s of one gallon of oil Cost of pellets have more than tripled. I am all for going green (I have a wood gasifier boiler), but do not like exaggerated claims.

  • Sorry, I have dealt with pellets burners too long...there is NO WAY 40 pounds of pellets is going to last 24 hours during COLD weather.

  • how much does one of those bags of grass pellets cost?
