@BARRENCROSS777 I just left last December, my tour was only 12 months. Wish I could have done a regular tour there though...

Thank you shipmate

Military salute is rendered to passing colors and official escort(in this case our CO and an Admiral) and then the caisson....

It's okay, even those serving in the US Navy aren't familiar with ceremonies not just in Washington but around the fleet. Keep up the good work BarrenCross. It's nice to see a sailor who knows the regs. Bravo zulu

Thanks for the explanation. It was not visible to me when I watched it. Thanks again for the explanation.

Barrencross777, nice video.. I have never seen a marching element during a Full Honors service. I was at the Ceremonial Guard for a year and conducted roughly 60 funerals as a COT ( the officer or CPO) leading the whole element and never saw a service. Nice birds eye view... BTW, the COT for this funeral retired from the navy ...

@pedrinelastronauta I can't remember who was the COT for this funeral but since it is a female it could have been Senior Chief Levi, otherwise it could be Senior Chief Wallace or Lt. Watley but the only one retired is CSCS Levi. In what year where you at the Guard?
