  • I was responding to someone who said (well, he quoted) something saying "man is made in God's image".

Since humans are part of the animal kingdom, and within this kingdom we are mammals, and within the mammalian order we are a kind of primate or ape, this claim implies that the creator of the universe is also a mammalian primate, for some inexplicable reason.

It was sarcastic. The idea that a supernatural universe creator, if one existed, looks like any particular animal is just silly.

  • Go fuck yourself, you religious idiot.

  • @superstar4567 Well how awesome your parents/school taught you it. You know the great apes can be taught to use and understand language? by using symbols and body language in the same way blind people do. Lol I don't doubt your more intellectual than a chimp but they're obviously very clever. :)

  • He's asking the wrong question... "can you figure out how to eat safari ants without getting eaten alive??" Well probably not but I can do calculus and write this sentence...

  • @superhamzah85 Theoretical? nuff said

  • @tommyk77

    Have you? Nuff said.

Tool use isn't unique to apes; but does your poodle steer at his own initiative, or is it just a conditioned behavior? Apes will often observe human behavior, and then mimic those behaviors.

  • @happytime11 Glad you enjoyed. Poodle prefers the Cadillac to the Honda. He can make a 45-degree turn with ease. My point was to show that an animal needn't be ape to demonstrate Human-like traits. All animals are special, each with its own noteworthy abilities that can seem at times very Human. Poodles driving episode was a shock to me, too. Have a great day!

  • @happytime11 Poodle doesn't have a license, but he does understand somewhat steering, the key, and gear lever. It shocked me when one day he pulled the lever with his teeth and then, grabbed the wheel with his forepaws, making a complete 45-degree turn. Some dogs are very clever. My point is that one needn't be an ape to display Human-like tricks. All animals are worthy. Glad you enjoyed. Have a great day! Oh, and Poodle prefers the Cadillac to the Honda.
