  • Lie number 1. They said the mother had abandoned it. FALSE. The truth is they have NO IDEA. Chances are the mother was caught in a fish net or hit and killed by a boat. Whales dont abandon their young. Lie number 2. At the end of the AP lie broadcast they say " oh yea and we think it had a shark bite". That was a lie to help them justify murdering the baby humpback. This is horrible. No wonder Orcas are attacking trainers in Sea World. They feel the trainer has been abandoned by its mommy

  • Stupid auzzies.. it came to them for help after surviving for so long.... only to be put to sleep in the end -_-

  • DolphinDog, Whales (And all animals) can and do abandon their young. It is possible the mother died, but Cetaceans are known for leaving calves. I wish they'd bothered to try and save this little whale. How SW fed JJ was nothing like what the woman described. You keep them in a smallish tank so they can swim but can't hurt them selves (think like a hospital bed) and feed them from a tube, but you don't sit on them and you most certainly don't use metal.

  • @TacoBunnyLand Just remember when your child gets lost, whoever finds him/her can kill him. Just showing you what they did was so inhuman. And no don't cry to me saying you can't compare those two situations.

  • @artvilm so true.

  • What pricks.

  • Too bad! Well these folks are highly amateurish and unskillful to nurse a whale!

Hope they learn from JJ (The Orphan Gray Whale) video!

  • LMAO A shark would have certainly eaten that baby whale if it was attacked. It wasn't ill, it was weak and I'm sure whale experts wouldn't mind taking care of the whale. Just because it wasn't a dolphin and not the type to do tricks and entertain, they didn't want to put in unecessary money to save it's life. The world is a horrible place, I hope when their children go get their vaccinations for swine flu that they inject large amounts of mercury in them.

  • the poor thing was suffering, it would have starved to death otherwise....R.I.P baby whale :(
