10/25/2009 Tea Party Express 2 Hits San Diego: (Song) Freedom Is Not Free

The effort will begin in San Diego, California on October 25th and travel eastward, building momentum as the tour reaches its final destination: a giant rally in Orlando, Florida on November 12th. The tour comes exactly one-year before the November 2010 elections and this will serve as a Countdown to Judgment Day for our elected officials. Those who are not serving in the nations best interest will be put on notice: were going to hand you a pink slip! At each stop the tour will highlight some of the worst offenders in Congress who have voted for higher spending, higher taxes, and government intervention in the lives of American families and businesses. These Members of Congress have infringed upon the freedom of the individual in this great nation, and its time for us to say: Enough is Enough! The Tea Party Express tour will feature leaders in the anti-tax, conservative, tea party movement along with musical performances of American Tea Party Anthem and A Bailout Song at each tea party event.

Congress shall have the power ........ provide for common defence and general welfare. In the 17 following clauses nowhere does it state individual healthcare. The general welfare pertains to protecting the people from out side forces. Anything not set forth in those articles is up to the States and the people. Read you Constitution and the writing of the forefathers. They specify that man is free and must be responsible for the health and well being of himself and his family.

The only problem I have with your comment is the enemy being the free market. capitalism is wonderful however, what we are seeing right now is not capitalism. "General Welfare" means just that. The general welfare of the citizens of the United States.

Please don't add FDR in that group. He kept this Country in a depression with his big government policies. He was a con man. He promoted war bonds and put people down who couldn't buy them while he himself didn't buy many. He became a rich man as President. WW11 was paid for because 85 million Americans bought $165 billion in bonds. And the wealthy paid 90% income tax.

We need moral political leadership. Martin Luther King, Gondi, Kennedy, FDR, Lincoln, Hamilton, Washington, Franklin. These men were leaders with Real Moral Values. These men cared about the common man & frowned upon ruling classes. People who care about the poorest people in the country are people of Real Moral fiber. I have given up hope for the TEA parties. They have been hijacked by Glenn Beck and the repubs. It more about the opposition to Obama and not the opposition to the system. Obama, just like Bush, is not the problem; they are only the result of the real problem, the SYSTEM!
