津軽三味線 Hip-Hop Shamisen with EMINEM beat.

A great way to practice traditional Tsugaru Shamisen is to play along with hip hop beats. Since most every song is in the same key all the way through it is very comfortable to practice jongara phrasing. Here we see Kevin Kmetz playing along with the infamous Slim Shady. "I`m Back" (Eminem) aka marshall mathers etc...

yeah I totally agree. The thing is, I practice along with the lyrical version because it gives me the chance to play off or play along with or counterpoint against the voice and lyrics. Anyway thanks for watching it!
