Two atypical destruction derby cars showed up at the fair this year and my friend and I had to banter about their performances. Now keep in mind there were five Imperials battle hardened with roll cages around their motors and more steel plating on the inside than a Sherman tank, and then there was an 80's Chevy front wheel drive car and a 1958 Buick. Both cars had NO cage and little if no chance of winning, but that doesn't mean it wasn't entertaining to see what happened to them both. Place your bets and press play.

  • @carlover89 It was probably too rusted out underneath, in the frame, to be restored.

  • stupid derby of demolitions

  • how the fuck dident the 52 buick do better its like almost 20 years older a hell of a lot heveyer and in theary built better and stronger

  • @Twangabilly you run in one american derby then you can say whatever you would like about it your little banger cars are made out of near foil these cars are made of steel

  • Watching these videos, I have to say that the crashes in american derbies are pretty lame in comparison to the smash ups in UK banger racing.

But one thing's for sure, these V8s sound 4000 times better than the heaps of shit we have to call cars..

  • when it drove in it still was a pretty car i loved the style of tht car it had serious potential:(

  • thts enough to make a classic car lover cry........wat a waste of a beautiful 53 buick.

  • at our local derby a guy always brings a 55 ford wagon and suprisingly does very good.

  • where is the 58 Buick??? I saw a Early 50's car

  • It was obviously a POS. Who cares? There was probably no floor what so ever and was sitting on channel iron he had to bolt in. I personally love racing cars like this. You know why? For the reactions you guys have right now. It's priceless. I'm currently racing a 64 T-Bird and my uncle is bringing out a 57 Bel Air this summer
