How do you open the back of the watch? is it pressure fit or screwed on?

On my watch, the lights stay on, it's supposed to fade away and come back on once I tap the watch again. Any ideas how I can fix this?

I purchased this and received it today.. the instructions on how to set the time werent very good but this video made it easy! I love this watch!
