loved this one... I would only add two things and that is that there are many hot-lines now in the US for people having depressing thoughts. And that it is okay, and good to look and ask for help if/when you feel down. Depression is a serious thing that sometimes talking doesn't fix and sometimes medication can help... Don't take pills unless you need them but don't stay in the gutter either!!!

Thanks for sharing Rob !

@ResidentCheerful has often led me to believe I must protect my younger siblings. I now believe that there is a point in which duty can overcome the person and soon that duty is the person. I don't expect an answer to this, I'm simply typing this out for the anonymous world to view for I have learned the importance of spewing out random nonsense for the sake of one's sanity.

Depression is something I've had to go through periodically ever since I was eight years old. I am now nineteen and was recently diagnosed with manic dpression (bipolar). I've attempted suiide three times, and I'm gladI've failed. I believe I would have been helped sooner had I talked to someone earlier on. Rob, I think that you are correct about not talking because some believe it's for the weak. I'm not a boy, but I can identify with men, and have a strong sense of duty towards my family that

@tonykeywest07Yes, Fags DO have a conscience, and that's why we think it's immoral to vote on civil rights. I'm gay married in California and do NOT want MY marriage up for a vote by the ignorant majority.

@lisztnut fags have no conscience

@tonykeywest07, I encourage all our viewers to click on tonykeywest07's profile and read the vile stuff he's been spewing out. He belongs to a radical Christian hillbilly group whose only purpose in life is to bash gays.... Beware....!

@tonykeywest07, you should have a guilty conscience for trolling around youtube, and spouting off your Westboro Baptist church bullshit. Get a life LOSER!

maybe its a guilty conscience

The first time I got seriously depressed I cried and wanted to kill myself. Not a good feeling

I'm rarely depressed about being gay, in itself, but more about not being good at being gay - both my own stupid ideas of what a gay man is and the ideas both straight and gay people put on me and each other. About not feeling desired or even accepted by other gay people, or the so called community - which I know is more than the ghettos or the scene, but they are still the more visible parts - bitchy, appearance-obsessed parts... I've known a lot of guys socially, but have no close gay friends

I noticed you had a boxing picture in the opening montage. Are you a fan? If so, who are your favourite boxers and who makes your list of the all-time greats?

Haha, not really, just had a postcard with some people boxing on it, and it was a cool design so I used it in my postcards video, and I just mimicked the expression on one of the boxers face :)
But thanks for the interest lol

I absolutly love you. But as I was watching the video, i wondered what the ring on your pinky was for???

I wish I could tell some amazing story about it, but really it was just a cool simple stainless steel ring that I found in a little vendor in a shopping mall and the only finger it fits is my right pinky :)

I've always delt with depression pretty much all of my life. Mostly due to lonliness and isoltation, I think. There were some tuff times here and there but I've made it through them so far. I have a friend who as delt with a much deeper depression and was hospitalized at one point for it. It was so sad to see him go trough that but happily he is now pretty much back to being himself again which is wonderful. Im glad you bring these subjects up. They are important. You're a good man, Rob!
