Wind Waker - Great Ocean Theme - Symphonic Version

After purchasing the Symphony Orchestra Jam Pack for Garageband today, I was VERY excited to get right to work at actually composing my own music. After spending hours playing around with the COUNTLESS different sounds it comes with (not the loops unfortunately, because something's up with my loop library I've got to figure out...), I ended up realizing that as fantastic as everything sounds with it, for the time being I couldn't think of a melody to get started with...

So what you're hearing here is a midi of the song that I took and changed around a little bit on garage band (swapping instruments a little, and adding the marimba because I like marimbas). I think this is a pretty fantastic sounding piece, easily surpassing the in-game version of this song.

Also, this triumphant piece of music is dedicated to all my subscribers, over 500 of you at this point! I hope I can continue to serve the youtube community well with my future arrangements on finale notepad, mario paint composer, AND garage band!

In essence yes - witha few other changes too. On the mp3 that I'm now giving out, there's actually a true ending that I made, so the version you see here has less changes to it.

But yes, you are correct. The ultimate point of this song was to demonstrate the sounds of the system for myself.

@UltimaXG2 hah I know what you mean - I don't use garageband anymore. I got east west symphonic orchestra and a few other east west products and I'm much happier with them. In fairness to ME though...this was the very first thing I ever created in garageband, and I'm not exactly a professional here, so of course I only could afford the native VSTs, and how could you expect a (then) 9th grader to create anything more than "joke-entry-level" things.
