This is the short film "4th St. Poker" This film will be available at movie festivals. Do you go all in? This short was written and directed by George Flanigan.
when i got to the 6 minute mark i couldn't stand it anymore. The only good thing was the costume and set design, which was interesting but didn't inform the story at all
I agree with the other guy, the fades? WHY! you can just hard cut, the story will still make sense. It was just so painful. What was the plot? I skipped ahead, they all bet everything and lost? the moral being that gambling is the devils game? not very interesting, and those fades? UGH.
I liked the camera-movement when the persons spoke. My favorite part of the movie was the colors, I liked the highlighted areas on the wall and clothes which reflected their personalities. However, I couldn't stand the fade in - fade out transition EVERY TIME the camera switched to another person. I`m very sorry, but in my eyes, the whole picture got ruined because of that. Be careful with the transitions, don't wear em out! Save em for the more crucial moments, not all of them. The plot was OK.
oh dear.
this was just so so bad.
