@ummayesha2009 i agree with that completely, every culture has their own way of dressing, and it should. but dont underestimate the underlying intention of modern pop culture. its sole mission is to destroy islam and what better way than to infiltrate it or appear attractive? i please urge u not to be so simple-minded sister, there r many things after us. this is a reality from the moment one accepts islam. believe me, there is a huge difference between cultural and modern pop fashion.

@smukase A Muslim woman can adapt fashion to make it modest. Islam does not need to be different from everything else as a way of life it encompasses many things. I am afraid you have have forgotten that Islam is not a set of rules but a life guidance with the scope to encompass different societies. We do not all wear black abayahs as that is Arab culture, not everything Arabic is Islamic but that is the Arab ideal of dressing and Islam is not a one size fits all sack dress.

@horselover4033 it s not that it cant rock, it can do anything even climb walls but it s not supposed to. if u wanna wear a hijab and niqab or whatever as fashion no problem, just dont call it islam. fashion is a lifestyle and so is islam, choose one. trying to be decent and trying to be fashionable r two different things
