Nissan R35 GT-R chasing McLaren F1 GTR at Thruxton race track

http://www.auto-journals.com A few gentle laps on a wet Thruxton on the morning of the Wilton House supercar day.
Neither car being pushed to anywhere near their limits, it wasn't a "race", not even a track day (nobody wore helmets), but fun to see nevertheless!
(Changed the title to keep YouTube cretins from moaning...)

Why even bother going to a track to drive if that's the way the track is going to be set up? Did anyone even break 80mph in that video?

@drakhen9034 6k in 5th gear is about 126mph. We were just doing a few laps to raise some money for charity, note we are not even wearing crash helmets.

It would have been interesting to see just how much faster the mclaren is with no restrictions on a dry track. With wet conditions, in the corners, I think the nissan would be slightly quicker. Price per performance the nissan GT-R is the bargain of the century, I have a lot of respect for it, In fact I prefer it to the new mclaren mp4-12c. But the mclaren f1, for me personally, is the greatest performance car ever made and will never be eclipsed.
